Johnnie Woodfork Helping Hands Scholarship

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be an academically outstanding freshman student entering full-time at Jackson State University with demonstrated academic achievement by maintaining a 3.25 GPA or above
• Must be a resident of Wilkinson County, Mississippi
• Applicants must submit an essay stating “Why Should I Receive the Johnnie Woodfork Helping Hands Scholarship” (500 words) and a letter of recommendation
• Must demonstrate financial need by Pell Grant or other financial eligibility standards
• This scholarship in intended for one student/recipient for four years; he/she must maintain a3.25 GPA or above and must be a full-time student
