Barnes Family Endowed Scholarship

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Applicant must be a junior or hold an AA degree from Community College and have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Applicant must have an ACT score of 21 or SAT score of 860 or must have passed the Praxis I exam and be admitted to the Teacher Education program.
  • Applicant must be willing to teach in a designated Mississippi geographical shortage areas for the first two years following graduation.
