Dessie Newton Endowed Scholarship

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be an incoming freshmen Elementary Education major
• Have a minimum 2.0 GPA
• Unmet financial need after the financial aid award package has been determined
• Write a 500 word essay expressing the desire to teach at the elementary level
