Fannie Lou Hamer Endowed Scholarship

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Must be an incoming Freshmen.
• Must be majoring in Social Science, History, Political Science, Sociology, Urban Affairs and Criminal Justice.
• Must be enrolled full-time at JSU.
• Must maintain a 2.75 GPA or above.
• Must provide a proof of community service.
• Must provide a good recommendation letter.
• Must demonstrate a financial need and academic achievement.
• ( preference will be given to students with a strong interest in the civil eights movements history and women’s studies or law)
