Rosetta T. Harris Annual Scholarship

• First preference will be given to Linwood Elementary School graduates (Yazoo County,
Mississippi). Applicants from Yazoo City schools are welcome to apply.
• Must be a first-generation African American college student.
• Must be an incoming freshman and full-time student at Jackson State University.
• Must maintain a 2.50 GPA.
• Must be a Yazoo County resident who resides on JSU campus.
• The eligible student(s) must participant in at least one campus organization such as: student
government, MADDRAMA, choir, and/or Sonic Boom to name a few.
• Must demonstrate a financial need.
