Leon Bland, Eric Barnes, Taurean Hearn, Jeremy Smith Annual Scholarship

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be an upcoming sophomore, junior, or senior student enrolled full-time at the university
• Demonstrate academic achievement by having a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Have an unmet financial need
• Provide a documented list of community service involvement (40 hours minimum for current year)
• Write a 350 word essay entitled “How to Improve Alumni Retention of Future Jackson State University Students”
