Jean D. Chamberlain Memorial Scholarship

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Must be a full-time student.
• Must be majoring in either English Education or English.
• Must demonstrate financial need.
• Must have completed 45 course hours.
• Must have completed 15 community service hours.
• Must maintain a 3.0 GPA or above.
• Must write an essay of 500-600 words that answers the following two questions:
• Why did you choose to become an English major?
• What are you specific career goals related to your major?
