Dr. Lou H. Devine Sanders Endowment fund

To be eligible for the scholarship (s), applicants must meet the following criteria:

• First preference will be given to Bolton, and other rural Hinds County students.
• Applicants from other locales are welcome to apply; be an academically outstanding undergraduate student enrolled full or part-time in the College of Education at the University with demonstrated academic achievement by maintaining a 2.75 GPA or above (eligible students may major in elementary education, secondary education, early childhood education, et cetera and other education concentrations, ex. educational technology, library science, school counseling, and biology.)
• Demonstrate an interest in education and its auxiliary or ancillary areas
• Must be a junior or above
• Demonstrate financial need
