Walter "Sweetness" Payton Memorial Scholarship

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be a full-time incoming freshman
• Be a high school graduate from a public school in Mississippi
• Have a minimum 3.0 GPA (Renewable with 3.0 GPA)
• Write a 500 word essay entitled “Why I Need the Walter “Sweetness” Payton Memorial Scholarship”
• Demonstrated leadership ability
