W. Cortez Castilla Music Scholarship

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Admission to Jackson State University and enrollment as an undergraduate student
• Minimum 2.7 major GPA or an equivalent combination of GPA and scholarly achievement
• Recipients must commit to concentrate their studies in a voice or piano-related field of music. Satisfaction of this requirement shall be coordinated with Dr. Kathy Castilla, PhD, the widow of Mr. Castilla and a professional trained vocalist and pianist
